Class Descriptions

We all want the same thing – for your puppy to feel safe and empowered while learning and to become the best version of themselves possible. More than daycare, Puppy Club is a comprehensive program for puppies up to five months of age, designed to assist families in socializing, normalizing, and problem solving as their pups mature.

Your puppy will receive opportunities to recreate with up to five other pups, practice a few basic skills, and begin positive exposure to a variety of novel stimuli. Considered a “behavioral vaccination”, these robust and scientifically supported early socialization efforts, when done well, best prepare both puppies and their guardians for a lifetime of resilience and comfort. Allow our force-free, experienced training team to help your puppy thrive!

Choose between our morning (8:15am-11:45am) or afternoon (1:30pm-5:00pm) sessions, which are separated into two age groups: 8-14 week olds and 15-20 week olds. Your puppy will attend the same Puppy Club session for two consecutive days (the dates of each session will be clearly indicated when you register).

**Small breed or shy puppies should be enrolled in our younger age group**

Puppy parents can expect the following:

  • A safe and optimistic experience for your puppy
  • A commitment to keep your puppy happy and healthy
  • Daily puppy reports – including a picture of your puppy’s day
  • Access to our private Puppy Club Facebook group to see pictures and other content
  • A puppy “Doggie Bag” souvenir

Puppies can expect the following:

  • A comfortable and tailored experience with an emphasis on their emotional health
  • Playtime with puppy friends
  • Gentle and age-appropriate exposure to new environments, activities, and novelties
  • Learning new skills such as healthy play, problem-solving, basic manners, and relaxation
  • A strong connection to the people and animals in their new Canine Community

Puppy parents are welcome to drop in anytime (this is on hold right now due to COVID-19 safety precautions) and will be provided contact information for the Puppy Club employees in the event of emergency.

Puppies must be vaccinated, dewormed, and wearing a collar with a name tag.

We hope you’ll join us for Puppy Club, where your Puppy will Play.Learn.Grow.

Puppy socials are ranked as one of the most important endeavors that a puppy parent can participate in with your developing baby! These fun and essential sessions will allow your puppy the opportunity to learn and practice important social skills with other puppies, new people, and new things…all while burning off some of that puppy energy! For optimum output, be sure your puppy is neither too tired nor too wired when you arrive. We’ll focus on healthy play and communication between pups, building resilience, and help you problem-solve your puppy matters- we’re here for you! Shy puppies or rowdy puppies may need special accommodations during the first few sessions so they can integrate comfortably into the group. Should this apply to your pup, we’ll work with you to identify best ways to ensure a positive experience as your baby advances through puppyhood. Puppy Socials fill quickly- don’t delay!

Please note: You MUST bring proof of current (age-appropriate) vaccinations each week in order for your puppy to be allowed to participate. Vaccinations specific to our program include DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, and Para-influenza) at 8, 12 and 16 weeks and rabies at 16 weeks.

Bring treats too, as there are always learning opportunities!

For puppies up to the age of 16 weeks! With the right balance of learning and socializing, your pup will benefit from this 5-week series (1 hour per class) focused on basic manners and problem prevention, and enjoy a little playtime with friends, too. Your puppy will learn how to sit, lay down, respond to her name, come when called, and more. You will learn how to accomplish housetraining, assess interactions between your puppy and others, and how to manage puppy biting, barking, and chewing. We’ll prepare your puppy for a lifelong love of husbandry- grooming, veterinary care, and more. In addition to playing with new friends, your puppy will have positive exposure to new people, sights, sounds, and surfaces. This upbeat class will position you for a lasting fun and loving relationship with your pup!

Proof of current and age-appropriate vaccinations is required.

We recommend that your puppy not be enrolled for Puppy Club or Puppy Social on the same day as your Puppy Prep School class.

Want to take the skills you learned with your puppy from Puppy Prep School to the next level? Register for this 4-week series (45 minutes per class) to continue to build proficiency and have fun at the same time! This class is appropriate for 4-6 months aged puppies to focus on “proofing” the previously learned exercises with distractions, duration and distance. Due to the age and size difference of some pups, play time is excluded from this class (continue to register for Puppy Socialization and/or Puppy Club for play opportunities).

***Requirement for this class is the completion of the 5 week Puppy prep School class.***

Proof of current and age-appropriate vaccinations is required.

Proof of current and age-appropriate vaccinations is required.
